The long-awaited day is finally here - we have a new royal baby! The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced today that their son arrived safely in the early hours of the morning. The new addition to their family is yet to be named, but weighed in at 7lbs 3oz.

Baby Sussex will be seventh in line to the throne and is the first British-American chid born into the royal family. Prince Harry says that both Meghan and their son are doing "incredibly well" and that he was born at 05.26am on 6th May 2019. He also noted that their newborn's arrival was overdue.
