The weekly high street and vintage round-up: garden chairs and door knobs

Charlie Porter is a self confessed magpie. As one of House & Garden's decoration stylists she helps compile the magazine's monthly shopping pages, and in her spare time applies her gimlet eye to sourcing antiques for her online store Tat London. Her Instagram feed is a glorious mish-mash of rooms by the world's best designers, coupled with her latest fantastically affordable finds. In the spirit of which we've asked her to compile a weekly selection of affordable but beautiful items - some high street, some vintage - supplying you with a new address book of places to find treasure for your home, no matter your budget.

Romanian Hand Plate, £45, from Host Home.

Host Home has some exciting finds. Started by Sophie Warburton - style director at The Telegraph - she produces her own fantastic designs, as well as selling some splendid vintage finds. I love this Romanian hand painted plate, 39cm wide - it will be the chicest addition to your table.

Plain Flower Shaped Door Knob, £2.99 for a set of 2, from Zara Home.

Some weeks a company just gets it right, and I have to pop them in twice. This week the prize goes to Zara. A few years ago I was into handles of all shapes and sizes, but perhaps with age I have become more conservative. These are simple and well designed.

    RÖNNINGE chair, £70, from Ikea.

My love for Ikea continues. This green chair is ace. It's solid birch with a thick green lacquer. An elegant addition to any kitchen.

Baloo mirror in an Ebony finish, £135, from Pooky.

Bamboo is having a moment. Why not join in with this marvellous mirror from Pooky? It also comes in gold or whitewash, but for me, I would keep natural.

Vase Shaped Alabaster Table Light, £135, from Vitrine 3.

Vitrine 3 is a vintage and antique company started by Amy and Maureen who have been friends for sixteen years. They have such an incredible range of pieces. I especially love this Alabaster light and if I didn't already have a flat full of things, this would be mine!

    Khmer Fan, £9.50, from Toast.

Not necessarily homeware I agree, but I think keeping a couple of these to hand is no bad idea. The chicest way of looking cool this year.

Holy Cow Napkins, £10 for 4, from Raj Tent Club.

Raj Tent Club is a glorious rabbit hole to get lost in, filled with brilliant pieces for the garden and home. It's divine. These napkins have long been on my wish list. I don't know why I am messing about as they are an excellent price to boot at four for £10.

Summer Flowers by Lisa Hardy, £50, from Partnership Editions.

Partnership Editions now has seventeen artists on their books whose work is affordable but extremely beautiful. I love the work of Lisa Hardy, so simple and elegant - what a joy.
